Ashley Zanotti" I remember bringing my V8 Jaguar Daimler down for a spin from Perth in the late '90s. I was a junior corporate executive and keen to revisit my old mates. We (the old surfing mates who shall remain nameless) poured out of Caves House early - about 10-11pm because the buzz had got out that there was a "party at the Top House", I think we ended up at the chocolate brick bungalow in this drawing . It was "someone's friends parents' holiday house" and there was psychedelic black (ultraviolet) lighting, graffiti on the walls and lots of weird chemicals going around. We left before the agro started, must've been between 2 and 3am. I heard next week that the house has burned down."

Haha but really so many things come to mind - the Ghost Trail and the many hilarious walks down there, the ambiance of the hill, general peace and safety, the chequered floor of the front bar of Caves, Surfside and it's metamorphosis into the Surf Rock Cafe (good times), the croquet lawn at Caves, the kids at the bus stop, wow I feel like fossicking around for old photos now. x"
